Dr. Nicholas Sygrove

Dr. Nick was born and raised in New Zealand. He grew up surrounded by all sorts of animals, a large organic vegetable garden, and fruit trees, just like the English series 'The Good Life'. His affinity to help animals and witness the special bond they share with their families started when Dr. Nick was very young.

After completing a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology with a double major (Zoology, Biology) at Victoria University Wellington, Dr. Nick went on to complete his Bachelor of Veterinary Science at Massey University in Palmerston North.  While Dr. Nick enjoys the challenge of not knowing what is going to turn up next, his special interests include dermatology (skin), ultrasound (abdomen and echocardiography), cardiology, soft tissue surgery, emergency medicine, customer service/business, teaching, and lecturing.  A self-professed team player, Dr. Nick believes multiple heads are always better than 1, so a collaborative approach to veterinary medicine is better for the pet, client, and the team.

Outside of work Nick loves to cook, taste, travel, exercise, play guitar, and zoom talk with his loved ones back home.
