After graduating from the University of Sydney, Dr. Kasumi returned to Hong Kong and started her career in small animal medicine working with the Animal Medical Centre and the SPCA. During this time, Dr. Kasumi gained extensive experience in animal welfare and shelter management.
Dr. Kasumi joined the Creature Comforts group in April 2021 and enjoys all aspects of general practice and treating patients in their home environments. Dr. Kasumi values keeping up to date with the latest in veterinary medicine and has recently completed a Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice (CertAVP) in Small Animal Medicine through the University of Liverpool.
When not working, Dr. Kasumi enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, cross-fit and taking care of two adopted cats Tora and Mugi.
