Dr. Jessica Li
BA(Cantab), VetMB, MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon
Dr. Jessica grew up in Hong Kong and went to the UK to study at the age of 16. She graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2020 with a veterinary degree as well as a degree in Zoology, and was awarded the Robinson College Council Postgraduate Scholarship for her academic results. Dr. Jessica has a wide range of interests in veterinary medicine. During her time in vet school, she undertook clinical placements at various institutions, including animal clinics, medical journals, zoos and wildlife rehabilitation centres across Hong Kong, the UK and the US.
Dr. Jessica joined the East Island Animal Hospital team in 2020. She enjoys all aspects of general practice and has a particular interest in anaesthesia, ultrasonography and internal medicine. She aims to further her knowledge and skills in these areas.
Outside of work, Dr. Jessica enjoys hiking, scuba diving, playing the violin, travelling and meeting people from different cultures and backgrounds. She is also involved with volunteering work in wildlife and conservation in her free time.
