Dr. Dawn Ngai

Dr Dawn grew up in Canada and attained her first degree double majoring in Biology and Zoology at the University of Toronto. Dr Dawn then moved to Brisbane, Australia and gained her second degree in Veterinary Science at the University of Queensland in 2012. She completed a surgical internship in Perth in 2013 and has since focused her attention in emergency and critical care. 

 

Dr Dawn joined the East Island / Animal Emergency Centre team in March 2018.

 

Outside of work she enjoys playing the guitar, saxophone, rock climbing, swimming, and taking her recently adopted Labrador to the beach.
